My Story

Jan Myers Cook is the President and CEO of JM Cook Leadership Consulting, LLC.  She is a John Maxwell Team Certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and is a retired New York attorney.

 

Her business purpose is to influence women attorneys of color to find satisfaction, success, and significance through her client-centered, holistic coaching and personal development strategies.  Ms. Cook helps attorneys remove their roadblocks, reset, and carve new career and life paths. In addition, she leads virtual workshops and facilitations that provide strategies for professionals, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople to become more capable and effective leaders. 

 

Jan has worked extensively throughout her career with small businesses, non-governmental organizations and faith communities.

 

Ms. Cook has traveled globally, gaining insights and understanding of different cultures, people, and environments. She brings this global perspective to her work.

 

Ms. Cook graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts, earning a B.S. and from Rutgers University School of Law, earning a J.D.
